Your payment security is our top priority. PinCloud partners with Stripe, one of the world's most trusted and secure payment processors, to ensure your financial information is protected with the highest level of security.

Bank-Level Security

PinCloud never sees or stores your payment information. All transactions are processed directly by Stripe using the same security standards as major financial institutions.

How Your Payment Information is Protected

PCI DSS Level 1 Compliance

Stripe is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level of certification available in the payments industry. This means Stripe meets the most stringent security standards set by major credit card companies.

End-to-End Encryption

All payment data is encrypted using 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption during transmission. Your card details are tokenized immediately and never stored in plain text anywhere in our system.

Advanced Fraud Detection

Stripe Radar uses machine learning trained on billions of transactions to detect and prevent fraudulent activity in real-time, protecting both buyers and sellers.

What Information We Store

What PinCloud Stores

  • Transaction confirmation details
  • Last 4 digits of your card (for reference only)
  • Card brand (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
  • Expiration month and year
  • Purchase history and receipts

What We Never Store

  • Full credit card numbers
  • CVV/CVC security codes
  • Card PINs or passwords
  • Banking login credentials
  • Any sensitive payment data

3D Secure Authentication

For added security, many payments require 3D Secure authentication (such as Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode):

How 3D Secure Works

  1. 1.You enter your payment details on our secure checkout page
  2. 2.Your bank may request additional verification (SMS code, biometric, or app approval)
  3. 3.You complete the verification on your bank's secure page
  4. 4.Once verified, your payment is processed securely

Note: 3D Secure adds an extra layer of protection against unauthorized use of your card. While it may add a step to checkout, it significantly reduces fraud risk.

Secure Data Transmission

Every page on PinCloud that handles payment information uses HTTPS encryption:

  • TLS 1.2+ Encryption

All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols

  • Secure Checkout Forms

Payment forms are served directly from Stripe's secure servers

  • Certificate Validation

Look for the padlock icon in your browser to verify secure connection

Chargeback Protection

If you notice unauthorized charges on your card:

Steps to Take

  1. 1. Contact us immediately - We'll investigate and resolve legitimate concerns
  2. 2. Contact your bank - Report the unauthorized charge for chargeback protection
  3. 3. Monitor your account - Check for any other suspicious activity

Both Stripe and most card issuers offer zero-liability protection, meaning you won't be held responsible for fraudulent charges.
